DEPRESSION THERAPY

While it’s common to have days where you feel sad or blue, depression is more pervasive and ongoing. If you’re depressed, you may not only feel sad, but also hopeless, irritable or worthless. You might also lack motivation or energy, have difficulty sleeping and concentrating, or experience changes in appetite and weight.

What is Depression?

The symptoms of depression can interfere with your ability to perform at your best in different areas of your life. Often individuals report a feelings of disinterest and low motivation along with persistent feelings of sadness when they feel depressed. You may struggle with simple daily activities and feel reluctant to reach out for support.

Psychotherapy can be helpful to understand and process your life experiences that might be contributing and maintaining feelings of sadness. Feeling depressed doesn’t mean that you can’t take steps towards breaking from this pattern. You can learn evidence-based interventions based on Mindfulness therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to not only manage your symptoms but regain control over your healing journey towards your goals.
